“Understanding the Kingdom of God” Lesson 13, Part 1 – The Beautiful Plan of Salvation

In Lesson 12 we discovered that Adam lost the first covenant with God through disobedience. Adam forfeited the Kingdom and dominion. Jesus came as the second Adam and established the New Covenant. The Kingdom has been restored to man by way of the New Birth. It is the New Covenant.

This lesson begins to answer the question of how we enter the Kingdom by way of the new covenant?

In John 3 Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God. He told him he must be born again of the water and of the Spirit. Nicodemus did not understand this. His human reasoning caused him to say to Jesus, “I am an old man. How can I enter again into my mother’s womb and be born again?”
