“Understanding the Kingdom of God” Lesson 17 – Heavenly Citizenship

God’s Word tells us that we have already been conveyed, or transferred into His spiritual Kingdom. We understand that we are not in His Kingdom in its fullness because flesh and blood shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. However, the Kingdom of God is within the born-again believer. Those who are faithful shall enter the eternal spiritual Kingdom of Heaven after they leave their earthly bodies. From the moment we are born-again our citizenship is in Heaven. Our name is written in the registry of the Lamb’s Book of Life. We are therefore in a sense of migration from this world to the next. Some have already gone before us. However, all who enter Heaven will do so legally. The King has established impenetrable borders. All who enter will do so through the Door of Jesus Christ.
