Blog 17 – The Gospel of the Kingdom Includes All Truth

I am so very thankful for my salvation experience. It is real and Biblical. I can literally go to the Book of Acts and my experience exactly mirrors that of the early Church that began on the Day of Pentecost in chapter 2. It isn’t merely a decision or profession of faith that I made, but a genuine conversion through the new birth experience as declared by the apostle Peter in Acts 2:38. As a believer I would not want to settle for less.

However, the Gospel of the Kingdom is more than simply the Gospel of salvation. True salvation opens the door for we are born-again into the Kingdom of God. Once we have entered, we must afterward learn more about this glorious Kingdom.

Acts 1:3 speaks of the forty-day period in which Jesus continued to appear to His disciples after His resurrection.

1:3 says, “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.”

Have you ever pondered what were the things Jesus taught them during that forty-day period? What about the things Jesus taught them concerning the Kingdom of God over the three and one-half years some of them had walked with Him? After all,

After all, John 21:25 tells us, “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”

As you read this blog, allow me to admonish you to search the scriptures for keys that unlock spiritual doors in the vast Kingdom of God.

We go by the written Word of God. However, we also are given the Holy Spirit of God. John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”

As you study God’s Word (2 Timothy 2:15), ask God to reveal truths of His Kingdom to you. Ask God to open your understanding. The Gospel of the Kingdom includes all truth. Seek truth. John 8:32 says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
