Blog 25 Expansion and Increase

Isaiah prophesied of Jesus saying, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of hos government there shall be no end . . .” (Isaiah 9;6-7)

Years later Luke penned the immortal words, “And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” (Luke 1:32)

Every promise of God to Abraham and his promised seed were fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He made the old covenant of no more effect, and He established the new. There will never be another covenant. Anyone obeying the Biblical plan of salvation is born-again into the Kingdom of God.

God has no limitations. Ephesians 3:8 speaks of, “the unsearchable riches of Christ.” Unsearchable means unfathomable, mysterious, inscrutable, incapable of being investigated, beyond human understanding, etc.

God wants us to seek and search Him, but although we will learn from that quest, we will never comprehend the awesome God. If we could understand God, He wouldn’t be a very big God would He?

What we can do, is loose the restraints and constrictions upon our unbelieving mind. On an individual basis, our greatest limitation to what God will do is either our lack of understanding and rightly applying His Word; or our own unbelief. Why limit God? Cast away unbelief.

You are in the everlasting and ever increasing Kingdom of God. Expand and increase your faith in God.
