Blog 16 – When the King Prays for You

In Luke 22:32 Jesus told Peter that He prayed for him that his faith would not fail.

It did not mean that Peter would not be tried and tested, but that his faith would not fail during the process.

If Jesus prayed for Peter in such a way, we can be assured He prayed the same prayer for the other apostles as well.

And yet most were put to death. But their faith failed not!

Even though each apostle was tried and tested in this life, they overcame and made Heaven their eternal reward.

The prayers of Jesus were answered.

When the King prays everything might not go the way you want it to in life. But the King’s prayers will be answered for what is best for you. His will be done.

No matter what we go through or face in life, let us always remember that we are citizens of the Kingdom of God. Our God knows us. He knows what we need before we ask. He shall provide all our needs.

When the King prays, His prayers shall come to pass. It may be quite a journey on our end, but the key is to never allow your faith to fail.

Therefore, we endure hardness. We run our race with patience. We persevere.

We won.
